Microblading - Hair strokes

Microblading - Hair strokes

Microblading is a technique using a super-fine pen with blades to deposit pigment into skin. With a blade configuration so fine, it can create hair strokes that look as real as hair. The needles reach only into the superficial layers of the skin, this sets it apart from the traditional cosmetic tattoo.

Micro-shading

Micro-shading

This method uses a stippling method, providing repetitive dots of pigment. It is the powder look behind the microblading strokes which creates a soft, powdered effect. A good choice for the clients that have no eyebrow hair, oily skin or those with mature skin where the skin can be thin.

Powder Brow

Powder Brow

Powder Brow; A soft powdery colour that matches the natural hair colour, it is used to fill in sparse areas within the eyebrow hair line.

A powder filled technique is generally used instead of hair strokes since you may already have eyebrow hair and an overall eyebrow shape.

Combination Brows

Combination Brows

A combination of microblading and micro-shading. The effect creates a soft look with definite hair-strokes and is ideal for more mature clients with thinner drier skin, but this technique is so versatile it can be used on most clients, using colour and creation to desired effect.

Eyebrows are arguably the most important facial feature. There are many ways to change them as most of us already know but now there is a very natural option that can give you permanent results - Microblading.

Microblading is the perfect treatment for clients who want to define, fill in gaps from over plucking, cover natural gaps or fully reconstruct their brow line....

So what is it?

Microblading is a permanent eyebrow procedure that is carried out by a qualified technician using a specialist hand-tool which holds disposable Microblades.

What happens?

A high quality organic pigment is deposited into the superficial dermis of the skin with the disposable microblade which allows the technician to create individual, crisp hair strokes which look like natural eyebrow hair, that allows for bespoke design for each client.

Is it different from semi permanent tattooing?

Yes, by the very fact that it is a manual procedure. When using a hand held microblade, the colour is deposited closer to the surface than when a machine is used allowing for a higher precision level resulting in very fine and crisp hair strokes which leave no spilling under the skin, scarring or skin damage.

Is this a suitable treatment for everyone?

It is my responsibility to make sure that there are no reasons you cannot receive this treatment. A full consultation is required before any treatment can go ahead. This should be done 7 days before the start of treatment.

How long does the pigment last?

Microblading tends to last between 18-24 months and after this period of time you may need a colour boost or refresh. Depending on your style you may wish to top up sooner or leave it a little longer.

Consultation and Pricing

The consultation is the most collaborative part of an eyebrow procedure. It's during this time that I will work with you to come up with a perfectly tailored eyebrow shape, style and colour specifically for you. Every new procedure and top up appointment begins with a consultation, but you can also book a separate consultation in advance if you are unsure about whether you are a good candidate or not. It's at this time we check your medical eligibility for treatment.

When it comes to pricing it can depend on your requirements based against what your eyebrows are like before we begin, this will be discussed at your consultation so there are no hidden costs and payments are generally made against treatment appointments to help you budget. But as a general guide the start price is £350 broken into 3 payments.
